Song meme! This one's fun. I burst out laughing at least five times upon hearing my next answer.
Take windows media player, iTunes, your iPod, or other chosen music system, and set it to shuffle or random. Ask each question out loud, and let the next song answer the question.

How does the world see me?
Solsbury Hill, by Peter Gabriel. "My friends would think I was a nut, Turning water into wine, Open doors would soon be shut." The world is giving me mixed messages. I'm nutty and miss opportunites, but I'm also apparently Jesus.

Will I have a happy life?
God Only Knows, by the Beach Boys. Hmmm. I could use a bit more optimism than that. Thanks, Windows Media Player!

What do my friends really think of me?
Tired of My Tears, by Susan Tedeschi. Lyrics, "Cause I'm sick of your lies, tired of my tears..." Oh, dear. This is not going well, is it?

Do people secretly lust after me? ... I'm afraid to ask.
White Flag, by Dido. Main lyric: "I will go down with this ship." Okay, now we're getting somewhere. ;-)

How can I make myself happy?
Crazy, the Alanis Morissette version. "But we're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy." I think I've got that one well under control, thank you.

What should I do with my life?
Brighter Than Sunshine, by Aqualung. The only instructions among the lyrics are, "Let the rain fall, I don't care," and "Love will remain a mystery, but give me your hand and you will see, your heart is keeping time with me". So I should either try apathy about the weather or else fall in love. The first is probably easier. I'll do that. Maybe.

Will I ever have children?
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, by the Animals. The title doesn't seem to help much, but the very first word is "Baby". On the other hand, the chorus, of course, is "I'm just a soul whose intentions are good; oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood." I will interpret this as uncertain, but leaning to no.

What is some good advice for me? (Didn't we already do this twice above?)
If I Had a $1000000, by the Barenaked Ladies. Woo hoo! Playing the lottery! And buying, among other things, a house, furniture, a faux fur coat and green dress, John Merrick's remains, lots of Kraft Dinner, dijon ketchups, and your love. This may help with Aqualung's suggestion, above.

How will I be remembered?
Perfectly, by Judd and Maggie. Enough said. Apparently the friends who are sick of my lies will get over it. :-)

What is my signature dancing song?
Tom's Diner, by Suzanne Vega, a capella version. Okay, so clearly I suck at dancing.

What do I think my current theme song is?
I Wanna Be Sedated, by the Ramones. Admittedly, I haven't gotten much sleep, lately.

What does everyone else think my current theme song is?
That I Would Be Good, by Alanis Morissette. "That I would be good, even if I did nothing," "That I would be grand if I was not all-knowing," and "That I would be good even when I am overwhelmed." Aww, that's so sweet.

What song will play at my funeral?
Proud, by Heather Small. "I step out of the ordinary; I can feel my soul ascending." Sure, that works.

What type of women do I like? (or, preferably, men)
For Your Love, by the Yardbirds. "For your love I would give you all I could." I apparently want to be pampered and given many pretty gifts. This is fine with me.

What is my day going to be like?
Cpatain Jack, by Billy Joel. Oh. Oh, dear. I'd quote lyrics, but the whole song is so descriptive. Hopefully this refers to today, which is luckily nearly over.
