Yay, birthday! :-)

amandac777Today I managed to get free - to me - lunch (beef dip and fries), ice cream (Yellow Brick Road from Ben & Jerry's), and dinner (spinach/artichoke dip, pecan-encrusted chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, and key lime pie). Plus, I finally bought the Doctor Who Series 2 DVDs, paid for with a coupon, old gift cards, and birthday money from Mommy and Daddy. Also, I "worked" for 8.5 hours, the bulk of which was spent either not actually there or watching (other) DVDs while the computer scanned things. Yay!!!
The only downside was that I had to go to a 2nd Borders to get the DVDs, so I was running late for dinner, then I got stuck in three separate patches of construction traffic. But I got there, which is what matters.
