Puzzle!

It's done! The puzzle is finally, really done!!!!

For those of you who have never been in my apartment, I've had a puzzle sitting on my kitchen table for a while now. This puzzle was a Christmas present two years ago. And by "on" my table, I mean that all four corners hang off the edges of my fairly large table. As for "a while," specifically, my friend Kelly and I started it on January 9th. Ten months and 3 days later, with help tonight from Jen and in the past from Tina, Therese, and a few other friends, we finally finished it! Yayyy!!!

Athena looked rather confused at the suddenly flat table surface. But she was well-praised for not having eaten or run off with any of the 2000 pieces, which we could only determine tonight.

Thanks! :-) I had this horrible feeling that we wouldn't have all the pieces, either thanks to Athena, or the vacuum cleaner, or simply the many times that I used the table *as* a table and could have accidentally moved pieces along with whatever I set on it. (Admittedly, I mostly just worked on it when Kelly was around, otherwise it would have been done *much* faster. Or so I'd like to think.)

Wow, so that`s determination. I`m terrible at those sort of things, I sorely lack patience when it`s needed. So congratulations are in order. :) And Athena is your cat, right? It`s a beautiful name.
